The seafront has gone through some real changes in the last few years, and anyone looking for a grown-up night could easily have come away disappointed. Put simply, the place is going to blow you away.
Downstairs is a warren of caves you could easily get lost in, like smugglers hiding their contraband or sailors sheltering from a storm.

Really cool pub with an interior that look like caves. We visited on a very cold winter evening. Only gripe is it seemed really cold inside (we were sitting downstairs) so we didn't even take our coats off! Great staff and good choices of beers.
Great bar to sit in the sunshine, average seafront prices
After disaster struck and our venue did not open, the tempest inn welcomed our open mic night and saved our university event. I am so grateful to Tom and Olivia for their great service. They have a wonderful bar, beautiful decor, and amazing staff. Helpful from the get go. Could not recommend this place anymore. Me and my friends will most certainly be back.
We came to Tempest Inn to the English Disco Lovers night, it was great fun! The atmosphere was good and the drinks were flowing and the music was on point! Nice to see an older crowd out and a pleasure to be dancing outside in October! Don’t hate, gyrate!!
Beautiful seaside bar! Really nice to sit outside in the sun with a pint. But also the cave like interior is very cool if you want to go inside. They also do really good food, Korean style chicken which is very tasty. At night the bar comes alive with a variety of music and djs playing outdoors and indoors. Really good nightlife spot as well. Highly recommend for afternoon pints and a night out!
