Our cosy pub in residential Hanover offers a warm welcome to regulars and newcomers alike. We have a turntable playing a mix of classical and contemporary vinyl all evening long, two TVs showing football, and regular live music.

The award-winning garden is a delightful summer spot, with heaters for those chilly winter evenings. Good quality hearty pub grub is available all week (we are particularly proud of our range of homemade pies), and we have all sorts of meaty, veggie and vegan roasts available on Sundays.
It’s constantly just ok. The welcome wasn’t too friendly but they done a mean point of old ale or Harvey’s ordinary. In the background was some sport. Nothing you couldn’t get elsewhere but hey ho. Upon departure no thank you offered. Having been here over the years there’s much to like here. Today not so much. Tomorrow springs eternal. The 4/5 is heritage rather than incumbents. Must try harder.
Went to the acoustic night and had a great time. No entrance fee, nice choice of Harvey's beers and other beers if you fancy. 4 bands. All good
Great little pub with a nice atmosphere! Staff are lovely too. We went on their bangers and mash evening (not sure how regularly they do them) and we got dinner with a pint or glass of wine for a really good price. I’m veggie and was catered for too which is great. It was delicious! One of the group I was with was being a bit of a wind up merchant so I want to apologise on his behalf. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
Good selection of Sunday roasts. Taste is just fantastic and very filling .
A true local place in Brighton. It is very confortable and they accept dogs. On Sundays the serve "the Sunday roast" made of lamb or chicken or pork. It is a very tasty dish!! I strongly suggest to try it. They have a big selection of different beers.

The Islingword is a hidden gem, perched up above Brighton city centre, next to Queen’s Park. It’s a fantastic local pub with traditional pub values and a friendly atmosphere.

Small but friendly pub showing Sky Sports and BT Sport across 5 screens. We serve great Sunday roasts and a selection of real ales.

Dating back to the 18th Century, The Sir Charles Napier is firmly part of Brighton's history - and it remains one of the best pubs in Brighton for relaxing with a top notch beer and a blissful sunday lunch. Quiet and unassuming, it’s the perfect place to
