Today my partner and I tried the Sunday roasts and they were delicious and good quality. My partner had the beef which he said was perfectly done. I had the vegan wellington, which had an unusual spicy twist. I enjoyed it a lot. The veggies were fab and lots of gravy. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, excellent service. The vibe is cosy and well presented. We will go back. I look forward to trying their weekday menu. The only thing that would have improved it would be adding vegan yorkshire puddings. I missed out on that. Otherwise, great value and we had a great experience, thank you.
This pub has such a great vibe. Truly friendly staff who love their job, brilliant Sunday roasts and great beer. We ate in the small room upstairs which felt quite special. Hugely impressed!
My husband and I stopped at The Earth & Stars for a quick dinner before going to see a show at Brighton Theatre Royal around the corner. The pub is very lively and has a nice vibrant atmosphere. The menu was simple but very well done, and I really enjoyed my fish and chips. It was well priced and overall we had a very enjoyable visit.
Absolutely lovely roast! I had the beef which I can't fault, tried my friends pork belly which was also lovely despite not being a pork fanatic myself. The veg was great too - loved the red cabbage! Two friends are vegan so had the butternut squash wellington and they mentioned it's one of the best vegan roasts they've had. Atmosphere is lovely - small so would advise booking ahead, and staff were friendly (only fault was delay in bringing menus and initial ordering but after that all was fine). Also felt it was reasonably priced and would definitely recommend for the roast!
What a wonderful pub! The staff were absolutely lovely and the roast dinner was to die for. The beef almost melted in my mouth and the roast potatoes were crispy and fluffy. The vegetarian roast was just as good, the butternut squash wellington was rich and a perfect compliment to the meal. A big shout out to the red cabbage too! Will most certainly be returning.
