Popped here after walking around the elan valley dams. Lovely dog friendly pub good food. Our dog got on great with the owners dog and a nice play in beer garden. Locals were very friendly and chatty.
The Eagles is a very friendly pub with excellent food at reasonable prices. It is clean and one of the best pubs in Rhayader. I highly recommend it. The owners are friendly and we loved our visit.
Great little pub with some good food and beer on tap. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Excellent stop after paddling the Upper Wye.
Great food came in 10 mins before I went in. Set table by pool table at back everywhere else sold out of Sunday Dinner if don't go for Sunday lunch literally at lunch most places are sold out. Came in here at 4pm ordered our drinks, and sat down ordered Sunday dinner and we had the last two dinners. Small dog friendly local drinkers pub friendly, and cosy.
Suberb, personal booking followed by warm, friendly welcome. Fabulous home-cooked food, wines and real ales. Star of the show was Carl, thank you, though whoever looks after the kitchen is a true pro! Don't hesitate to book and enjoy this quaint, family, dog friendly pub, with top class pub-grub at decent prices. What a find! Thanks to Carl, kitchen staff, Wynn and Tracey!!!!
