Just a short meander from Shoreditch, you'll find The Eagle - possibly the only pub you'll ever frequent that's famed for its name-check in a nursery rhyme: Up and down the City road, in and out The Eagle. That's the way the money goes. Pop goes the weasel... But it's not just this catchy little ditty that makes us stand out from the crowd. Freshly prepared pub food, and a great selection of continental beers & lagers, with the option to retreat into our heated beer garden - now that's what makes us the hottest hangout this side of Old Street.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here - very reasonably priced. We arrived quite early (12:15), so only a few other tables were taken - but lots of reservations for later. I had a roast beef - tasty and lots of veg, roast potatoes, Yorkshire and gravy!
We had our staff Christmas lunch for our team from St John’s Hoxton. It was the best Christmas lunch we’ve had together - great food, really nice atmosphere, good service! Thank you to everyone at The Eagle!!
Lovely pub, excellent food and amazing service. Special shout-out to Bruno who is very friendly, funny and great attention to detail. Came here for an office Xmas party and it was perfect and ran very smoothly. Vegan friendly, wheelchair accessible.
We didn’t have a reservation but were able to take a table right away for Sunday Roast - around 3. One of the better pub roasts I’ve had in London; great for the price point (under £20 a head). The pork belly was especially delicious and portion sizes spot on.
Delicious food and relaxing atmosphere - perfect for a Sunday roast. Excellent bloody mary. Brad was super helpful, answering all my questions. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended 🙂
