Went for food with friends, nice cosy atmosphere, good food. It's just off of the a40 so handy to stop for some food on a journey. Reasonably priced, will visit again when back in he area

Perfect place to stay whilst away on business in the area. Staff were excellent. Room was clean, tidy and far exceeded the price paid. Evening dinner was very good, reasonable price as well. If I had to say a negative it would be that there was no WiFi in the room which meant I couldn’t work, but in all honesty that was a blessing as I watched the football in the bar with friendly and kind locals instead. Sorry I didn’t get chance to say goodbye before checking out to thank everyone for nice hospitality.

Rooms clean but little dated....spacious though. Service great, busy pub/eatery.....food looks fabulous even though didn't eat there. Ample parking but not great taxi service from the pub....We were lucky to find an operator...but obviously not the venues fault. Breakfast was lovely too....

Stopped here for Sunday lunch on the way home from Swansea. We all had a roast dinner which was excellent, with loads of vegetables and more gravy than I've ever seen. The apple pie was really good too. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight downside was that the Rev James was cloudy but it was changed for Guinness without question. All in a great lunch and reasonably priced. Thanks.

Fabulous Sunday lunch here, they were very busy but was not a issue, plenty of attentive polite friendly staff to take orders and serve wonderful hot food with a selection of vegetables beyond your wildest dreams. Everybody said how the meat be it turkey, beef or pork all was melt in the mouth tender. Dessert choice was just as wonderful! I cannot recommend highly enough. ( Rod) Sally Perkins
