We found the room to be very clean and comfortable, value for money, and aled was very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed.
A great value hotel in the perfect location for the seafront and town, with adequate restaurants and pubs just a short walk away. The owners, like most of Aberystwyth, are very helpful and genial. The rooms are not luxurious but are perfectly adequate and very comfortable. The hotel is dog friendly too. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we will definitely come back.
Lovely comfy room. Lovely and clean! Easy check in, easy check out. Right where the action is. People were great. Parking was easy, just at the church a minute walk away. Thanks for a comfortable stay!
*BAD CUSTOMER CARE BY FAR* BE WARNED. I have NEVER given a review before I've EVEN stayed in an accommodation and If I could give less that 1star I would! I am furious because it is now the the evening of the 14th Aug '23 and my wife has just received an email cancelling our stay that is on the 16th Aug' 23. YES you read that correct.... Less than TWO DAYS before we arrive! Apparently they have overbooked??? We booked and paid for this stay on 15th Jan '23, a full 7 months earlier so the' overbooking is absolute balderdash.... (being polite!) We are in the middle of our Welsh Road trip so nowhere near home so now we are left to find somewhere else in the height of the summer season. Thank you for that Pier Hotel , and yes the word WILL get passed on with the way upfront paying customers get treated before they have even stayed in your accommodation We are fair and honest people and had hoped to be treated likewise but this excuse is utterly unacceptable
Lovely size big room with spacious shower room and comfy bed with light clean bed linen. Only downer was the slight noise from the all night lickin chicken restaurant opposite which attracted late night revellers. But booking in and out was easy, would definitely stay again for a longer weekend when picking up/dropping off our Son at Uni. Stayed in Room 2.
