The Dutch Mill is a family run hotel ideally located in the West End of Aberdeen.

Saff were very helpful. Room was very clean. Bathroom was very clean.Bed was a little hard but had a good sleep.For me the shower đźšż was small. Not many places they could put. Parking was a little problem. I had to park on the main road on a single yellow line. If you have a small car you will have no problem. Yes I would stay there again.
Booked a table for 12 people midday on a Saturday, meaning it wasn’t too busy. Being a place I’ve visited many times before over the years I expected a lot better. Food was good throughout, however service was below par and the wait times for food to come out left a bad taste. Sitting nearly 3 hours for a 2 course meal is quite appalling, waiting over an hour for just desserts is also somewhat ridiculous. When dessert did come out 3 were missing as they’d been put through as “caramel sauce” instead of “sundae”. 20 mins later after everyone else had finished they appeared. To then see the bill with the mistaken sauce still on there as well as the sundae sums up the lack of care and attention. Not sure what has happened since my last visit however it seems things have went replied downhill, I will not be returning in a hurry.
Lovely lunch with good friends here today. The staff were all really great. Food was pub grub, and not bad at all.
Great simple food that was made well. Mac and cheese was good My counterparts all had the curry chicken and they all enjoyed it. Missing cutlery at the beginning of the meal but quickly brought them over. Parking is quite unique. Very narrow road and parking spaces also few…if you’re driving, you cannot drive a large vehicle.
Booked a table for two to watch the Scotland v Ireland game. At short notice, we increased it to 4 as we had friends joining us. No problem despite it expected to be a busy night. On arrival, bar was really busy as expected and the table was a bit cramped. Staff were great and sorted us with another table quickly despite the place obviously being rammed. Food was great and a good choice of beers on tap. Always a good night when we come to watch the rugby
