Friendly and local with a fire when chilly and a garden when its warm. Lovely Friday night spot. Warm stove down the garden end of the bar now as well, cosy 😊

Great traditional and historic pub, unspoilt with top ales. Very friendly and warm welcome, especially with the thoughtfulness to keep the fire burning for us. Had a lovely evening here.
