We had a wonderful meal for my partner's birthday at the restaurant which has a good range of vegan options. The service was very polite and friendly, the setting and ambience was very relaxing. The food was delicios and very well presented. A very enjoyable evening.

Excellent location. We were delighted with our room. Staff attentive, all round! The restaurant/bar , again staff friendly and top rate meals! Here for 6 weeks, our first choice for Sunday roast. Booking I’d say, a must.
A regular haunt for us, lucky enough to live locally. Epic Sunday lunch today. Love the online table booking, wish more places had this. We booked the evening before for seven of us (four adults, three kids). We had a combination of the lamb, pork, beef and chicken at it was all superb. Staff are attentive and friendly and for what you get the price is reasonable. A la carte menu is really good too and is more interesting than some of the other Bailgate venues. Atmosphere is great in the bar too. It is a card only venue for info.
Really nice bar/restaurant. Located in Bailgate, the hotel has a pub style bar and dining areas. There is also an outdoor area with tables which is covered should there be rain. The staff are friendly and the service good. The food was pretty decent. My only slight niggle was that my steak was a little tough. Everything else was good.

The Lion and Snake is one of the oldest pubs in Lincoln, just ask any one of the the three ghosts that reside here! Our beer garden is the biggest in the Bailgate and has amazing views of the cathedral. It is popular with visitors and locals alike.
