Come in and experience the warm friendly atmosphere of the Duck on the Pond. Enjoy a delicious lunch in our lounge, drink some cocktails at the beer garden or pop in and dine in our restaurant with friends and family.
Haven't had a meal here yet but will do as the food looks great. Came here for new years Eve party. Great entertainment sadly dance area could of been bigger had they moved a couple of tables earlier but they were busy that night. Bar staff were really nice to me and the atmosphere of the whole pub was brilliant. Will be back for a meal soon. Just wish we could give more stars
First time visiting The Duck on the Pond although driving past it many times. I am glad we decided to pop in for dinner. The staff were friendly and it had a warm and inviting atmosphere. We sat in the room on the right, and the room had an open fire but unfortunately it wasn't on. The room had lots of duck pictures and ornaments which we found pleasent and amusing. We had a couple of drinks and the food was amazing! Quick service and tasted delicious π The homemade chips and the onion rings were my favourite! We will definitely be visiting again to sample the rest of the menu. An added extra was the music playing. We were wondering if it was a bar-person's own playlist or an album bought? Great tunes though! Made the experience of The Duck even better. Thank you!
FAB. Vegan pie of the day smashing. Pub is just lovely all round. We had 4 young kids and a baby with us, sat on a very large table with a bench on one side - perfect for the kids to sit on! Everyone throughouly enjoyed their food. Will be back!
Food was amazing we ordered camberet cheese and crusty seeded bread ( does not state seeded bread on menu, for those with allergies or dislikes) as a starter. Classic home made burger and the black treacle ham mains they were perfect. 5 star π for food. Customer service was lacking to begin with, one waitress clearly didn't want to be there but once she finished her shift the young women who took over serving the dining area was brilliant π we've been for drinks here many times but first time having a meal and will definitely be returning the food aswell now π
Fabulous pub with fabulous staff and fabulous food. Met by a lovely, friendly member of bar staff. Had the homemade beef burger with fries and slaw. Delicious burger and definitely homemade. Didnβt wait long for it to be served, and it was piping hot. I can definitely recommend stopping off here if in the area.
