Nice pub, lovely staff, poor food
Just the experience we hoped for in our search for Sunday Roast. I love it when a plan matches up to expectations and outcomes. As the only member of the group with Celiac concerns, I was blown away by the attention given me to ensure my experience was without issue. The pub had switched to its winter menu and it's Celiac menu only the covered the summer menu. Our server got with the chef and went through the menu line by line to confirm what was safe for me to enjoy. Seriously, I cannot put a price on knowing with certainty that I can eat without concern.
Attractive and spacey pub with a dining-style set up. We went for Sunday roasts, and the portions are really generous (you won't leave hungry) and the choice of desserts would make anyone happy. The service was good and we had a lovely time.
We came to the Duchess w6 for a nice Sunday roast. The atmosphere is relaxing with lots of space. They were also showing the rugby on the TV. The food was pretty good. Good portion of meats and lots of gravy. We shared 4 roast mains between 5 and were pretty full. Decent selection of beers too.
Nice atmosphere, has a front patio by the road and also a small garden at the back, where it’s a bit quieter. The interior is pretty little English pub with a beautiful fireplace in the corner. We came on the Jubilee weekend and it wasn’t too busy. We tried the fish soup special which was very tasty and the whitebait which was extremely fishy, but the standout were the chips and fries. They were really well fried and the portions were generous. The drinks were great too, with a wide variety available - happy to see that the bar carried seedlip, which is a great non-alcoholic alternative 😊 Good proximity to Ravenscourt Park, if you’re at an event and you need real food.

It’s the beer garden that steals the show at The Eagle. A glorious space with its very own bar and Burger shack. Kick back and wile the hours away in style in one of the top alfresco spaces in West London.

The Raven is very welcoming with the appeal of a great local traditional pub
