Visited this pub mid summer felt unwelcome by an unfriendly local. Small digs, patronising and speaking English then Welsh. I totally understand it's their language and they are very proud people but we just wanted to visit this lovely place.I now see why the English call them Ignorant sheep shaggers .
Had a really special time at this rural village pub - went for dinner with three small children and were made to feel like we were friends, not customers. Two of us had the homemade pizza which was excellent. Can't thank the landlady enough, just really disappointed we only found the pub on our last night in Wales! (and the children will remember the tractors always) ☺️
First time in this lovely friendly pub/restaurant with my family. In a word "yes" had Sunday lunch beautiful we was so impressed we're going back on Wednesday for another meal this time for the Tomohalk stake 24oz between us two. Looking forward to it. From the English family ("Be lucky").
What a nice place! The food was great and I had a nice chat with the owners who seem like lovely people :) service was also very good. Will definitely be returning!
Really friendly and welcoming place, a local pub full of great characters. Good beer and food, does B&B, has a holiday cottage and allows campervans to park up for the night, what more could you want. (Dogs allowed in the bar area)
