Food was great .very tasty .staff were very freindly .kept asking if we needed anything else .only thing is the place is freezing .really need some heating on .
Excellent meals had for a party of 5. Given ample time to choose for the menu and the half portions were more than adequate, and delicious. Being the run up the Christmas there were numerous bookings and kept the staff on their toes and everyone was attended to and cleared up afterwards with efficiency. A lovely time had
Arrived for a wake, in back of room. Service terrible. Left to own devices. Sandwiches, hot food and cake good. Gathered bought in, well done. As event progressed tables never cleared. Empties piled up. Will never frequent again.felt for family involved. Desperate for refurbishment, holes in walls, toilets!
The food is amazing here but unfortunately the service from the staff isn't great. We didn't get a friendly warm welcome like most places do when you walk in. We were standing waiting to be took over to our Table for a while then once seated none came over to us for a while. No one asked us how our meal was (which most restaurants normally do) I get the staff are most likely tired from a long day at work and won't always want to smile all day I totally get that as I've worked in retail myself but come on the communication is needed and service when working with the public.
We booked a table for 3 for 5pm on a Monday. It was reasonably quiet, which was what we had hoped. (Wanted to beat the dinner time rush) The staff were very pleasant, prompt with their service and knowledgeable about the food. The mains were excellent, piping hot with nice portion sizes. We then ordered slices of cheesecake to take away and were a little disappointed that no discount was offered for not having the ice cream/pouring cream with it. The dessert portion size was also very small for the price, compared to other places, so we wouldn't recommend purchasing a dessert.
