Can't comment on the rooms, but the offering in the bar is good. The harsh white LED lights in the bar are dreadful and destroy the atmosphere. Please change to warm white. Customers will stay longer. Lights aside, I enjoyed my visit and the split level bar is interesting. I must come back to try the food.
Nice food and friendly locals made you feel welcome in the bar later.
Lovely looking pub , with a good beer selection Sunday lunch was a let down though . Roast beef very tough & Yorkshire pudding made from polystyrene & meagre portions Certainly not the best Sunday lunch in Weymouth as they claim which was a pity
Great place to stay for walking the south west coastal path. Clean and comfortable room and nice cooked breakfast available early. Lovely little beach and coastal path less than five minutes walk away and about a 20 minutes walk to the old harbour along a quiet pedestrianized trail. Free parking available although space is quite small. Room felt newly refurbished and although above a pub we didn't hear any noise.
Chose for a little weekend away with the wife and could not have been more happy! The landlord and lady are 2 of the nicest and most welcoming couple I have met. The room was perfect for us. We decided to venture out and look around and is very close to Weymouth Town centre. Had a bite to eat at the hotel and wasn't disappointed! All round a great experience and would definitely recommend
