We popped in on a very wet and cold day, we were met with a very unfriendly young lady, however after placing our order and being served by a super friendly young bar man. He brought our food order super fast and was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered from the light meals menu, the pork belly was fantastic so were the crab cakes. After initial unfriendly welcome it was an awesome experience and would highly recommend, with a fantastic view
Lovely family run pub by the Quay. Great atmosphere inside, love the gallery sitting upstairs, nice view over looking the water if you sit by the window. New York Deli Style was delicious and generous portion. Tried the cold river cider as well which was very refreshing. Saw other people having a roast dinner which looked fantastic, the Yorkshire puddings looked huge. Service was very quick and staff were very attentive. Would definitely visit again.
Stopped for an unprompted lunch as we walked around Weymouth. Food was superb and got to recommend the fish cakes, tacos and Chef Burger. Great views of the harbour from the outside seating. Highly recommend if your in the area
There wasn't a lot of choice for real ales on my visit, and I didn't eat except for a packet of nuts. However, the pilsner was exceptionally good 👍 Good music on the sound system and the bar staff are pleasant and sociable. Outside the bar was very busy with a great atmosphere and a nice view of the estuary. I look forward to popping back in the summer, trying the food, and editing this review. Definitely one to go to.
We were in Weymouth on a cruise stop. We wanted to try a local pub for a pint and fish n chips. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was excellent. We tried the fish n chips and they had mussels on special that were some of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to visit again.
