Quaint 17th century thatched pub, set in the picturesque village of Winterborne Stickland. Separate dining area with feature inglenook fireplace. Dog friendly in bar area as well as a beer garden and large car park available for all customers.
We do advise to book ahead if possible to avoid disappointment especially if you are a larger group.

Great pub, turned up late after an arduous cycle ride, good pub fayre at a very good price, where other pubs have increased costs.
We walked to The Crown from the nearby Inside Park Camp site. It's about 3 miles walk and not too arduous. Well worth it, as the staff were very friendly, lunchtime food delicious and beer was decent too. Next time we are at Inside Park, we shall book for an evening meal. Highly recommended.
This place is fab. Great owners, really friendly. They have revamped the pub. The Menu is excellent and the food was spot on. Plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Great choice of ales and gins. Opens at 12. Food available from opening apart from Tuesdays. Will be going back there again.
