Nice traditional pub close to Winchester. They have a good selection of pub style food including a sunday roast menu. The other options range from burgers to Thai curry. Overall a nice place to come to either for a drink or a drink and something to eat. The food was good and hearty and the atmosphere was nice too if you like the English modern pub vibe. Service could have been a bit better. Wasn’t sure if you get served or if you need to order at the bar. It’s also dog friendly which is nice. Prices are reasonable as well. They do close quite early which is a shame but overall would recommend.

Ate in the restaurant. 2 adults. 1 toddler. Sunday roasts were absolutely amazing. Best I've had in years. Large portion and choice of meats. Vegetables cooked properly. We added on extra pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. Also had a nut roast which my other half loved. Service was really good from all staff. Will be returning again soon as didn't get to sample the puddings.

We came to The Dolphin as an early dinner with our son. We were made to feel so welcome and Bethany couldn’t do enough for us. So family friendly and the food was really lovely. The chef even went and made me some garlic mayo after I asked . We would happily come again . Thank you to the staff .

Lovely country pub in a quintessential Hampshire village. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was delicious, nicely presented and fairly priced. Unfortunately I found it was cold despite sitting next to a barely warm radiator. Pale blue walls added to the feeling of it being cold and I kept my coat on through the evening. Will definitely go back though as it is a very welcoming and friendly pub!

Loved our stay. The best part being a walk across the forecourt to dinner. Staff were so friendly and helpful and food at the pub was great. Rooms are very spacious but not a space to hang out in, due to being dark. Probably more easily tolerated in the winter but on a bright summer's day the contrast is felt. Rooms could be improved with prettier decor, lighter bed linen and pictures on the walls. The all-grey is not complimentary to an already dull room.
