Friendly atmostphere in comfortable, contemporary surroundings. Tempting weekend breakfast menu.
My friend and I live at opposite sides of the country and this village was the half-way point. So at random we met at this friendly pub. We had the vegetarian breakfast that was amazing and the kind lady that served us and kept us watered was a lovely host. We were only going to stay for a short while however the atmosphere was so warm (helped with the real fire) that we ended up staying for several hours. Would recommend.

Lovely breakfast (very impressed with their vegetarian breakfast options) and excellent service! Definitely recommend, we'll be back again for sure. The hound was also very happy with his complimentary sausages!
Came here for the first time tonight, was pleasantly surprised, smal cosy pub around the corner from me, will definitely visit again
