    Hello!
Here we go again, third times a charm #3!
From Wednesday the 14th of April, we will be welcoming customers into our wonderful marquee & garden again!
Due to the new Government Guidelines, we will be operating outdoors only. Our marquee in the car park will still be in use. However, the sides of the marquee will be open to comply with the new rules but will still be covered.
This means that there will be no heating and we will all be exposed to the elements. This may cause opening and food serving hours to vary, depending on weather conditions, just check our social media/web site on the day to get the latest opening times.
Opening hours may have to be flexible, we are planning 12 noon until 9pm and this time, we can all have a beer in the afternoon without ordering a scotch egg.
Our aim is to be open Wednesday through until Sunday.
Food will be served lunchtime and evening.
Sunday we will be serving food at lunchtime only.
For the time being, we will be following the rule of 6, but this can be from any number of households.
On entering the pub, every customer over 16 years old must check into the NHS Covid-19 App or give contact details to a staff member.
Face masks should still be worn when moving around the marquee and going to the toilet (unless exempt). less

We'd like to take the time to thank you all for the continued support through Lockdown #3. It's been tough for everyone, but there's hopefully a Pint at the End of the Tunnel.

We'd like to take the time to thank you all for the continued support through Lockdown #3. It's been tough for everyone, but there's hopefully a Pint at the End of the Tunnel.
We're cracking right on and making progress for opening.
We're aiming to open on Wednesday 14th April and will be continuing with the previous hours/days, Wednesday to Sunday. Food will be served lunch time and evening. Sunday will be lunch service only. Full hours will be released nearer the time.
To adhere to the Government Guidelines, we will be operating on an outside basis only. The marquee will still be in use, however the sides will be up to qualify as 'outdoors'. Because of this, there will be no heating, so you will need to dress for the weather plus the garden if the weather's nice!
Opening hours/days will be entirely weather dependent. This may mean we have to close and resort to takeaway service for the selected day.
We look forward to welcoming you all back.

In support of the NHS Test & Trace regime, when you arrive to the pub, you’ll be asked to check in via the QR code provided. This service will help identify, contain & control Coronavirus, reduce the spread of the virus and save lives. Anyone that tests positive for Coronavirus, will be contacted by NHS Test & Trace and will need to share information about their recent interactions. All information you provide to the NHS Test & Trace service is confidential. No one who is contacted will be told your identity. Anyone you’ve been in contact with will be told to self-isolate for 14 days.
If you don't have the app or a smart phone, you will have to fill out a form provided by a member of staff.
From Thursday September 24th, Pubs, Bars & Restaurants must operate with table service only. Staff & customers must wear face coverings indoors unless they're at the table to eat or drink. This means if customers are moving around the marquee, using the bathroom or paying the bill, you must wear a face mask.
What is the ‘Rule of Six’?
The Rule of Six stipulates that no more than six people from 6 different households can meet in a group, both indoors & outdoors. Meeting more than 6 people in a group is now against the law and fines will be issued for people that are caught. This also means that you cannot mingle with other
groups. You must stay in your group of six.
    Hands. Face. Space.
The ‘Hands. Face. Space’ public information campaign urges the public to continue to wash their hands, cover their face and make space to control infection rates and avoid a second peak. less
