Beautiful little pub in a beautiful little village. Wonderful Sunday roast and dog friendly. Sat in the bar by the fire which was just perfect for a cloudy Sunday
The setting was a beautiful country pub, with a very warm and cosy feel. Staff were very attentive and food came out extremely fast. The food was very high quality and tasted delicious. It was pub food of restaurant quality. Would recommend.
What a treat! Every dish was layered with stunning flavours and the presentation was exceptional. The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming! A perfect meal!
Gorgeous little pub located in a beautiful little village. The food was the best I've had for a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The staff were so lovely and helpful. My mum and i stayed over for one night in a cottage room, it was a lovely room the only slight down side was it was a little chilly (I think due to old windows and only 1 radiator for quite a large room) That being said I would stay again as it was so beautiful and location was perfect . My photos are of the village literally as you walk out of the pub 😍 Thank you for a lovely stay!
Very nice place to stay and close to Chatsworth House. Stayed for the Christmas event which was well worth it. Staff are very polite and obliging. Decent evening menu both A la carte and bar. We were lucky for a good coating of snow to complete the Christmas experience.
