Sunday lunch is a simple pleasure here. Staff are attentive and friendly and the food is great.
Staying in Tavistock for a few days decided to try the roast dinner in The union Inn and wasn’t disappointed. Service was excellent and the food was excellent would highly recommend it definitely be back in the future. Thank you for my lovely meal 😊
I went for a Sunday roast with 2 friends. Lovely meal with fruit crumble/custard pudding. Staff were friendly and obliging. Will definitely go again. Rosemarie, Tammy, Jackie.
Came in just looking for a pint after a long hike. Looks like your normal pub and expected the same inoffensive but not exciting food. Was very surprised at the selection of the menu and ate a delicious homemade venison pie with a very generous portion of vegetables and chips. The prices are really good for the size and quality of the meal. The whole group was very impressed by this pub. Would definitely go again if I'm ever in the area.
Had a great stop over on my ride round the Dartmoor Way. I was met at the front door by Cath, who couldn't do enough for me. Accommodation was spotless, and I had the place to myself. The pub, to which it's attached, was very friendly and the grub was grand. All in, a great stay.
