We go to the Toby at least once a week for breakfast mostly in a Sunday. Great staff who are friendly and efficient and the food is normally really good! We’ve also been for carvery too and it’s great! Plenty of options on the veg side to choose from and again great quality that keeps us going back.
We had pre booked a table for 13:30 but arrived earlier than anticipated and called in to see if we could bring our booking forward by one hour. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and seated us virtually straight away. The service was excellent and the food was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit this time and like our previous visits in the past.
I have been to many Toby carvery’s in my time but the Plymouth one was by far the most pleasant. Our waiter who I believe was called Dave ( tall guy ) was brilliant. The food was great but Dave/ tall guy made our day with his excellent and friendly service.
We went in for a meal on a Thursday. Had a carvery. Food was delicious and very good value for the money. Having enjoyed the food cooked here in a too good too go bag we decided to go for a meal and we were not disappointed. Place was lovely the staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend. We were able to be seated without booking but if going at the weekend or around a meal time might be worth ringing for a table...... definitely be going again.
This place is absolutely wonderful. The customer service was outstanding. The food like always was delicious it was almost impossible leaving without a second plate. The music through the speakers wasn't too loud or too quiet. The waiting staff were polite and cooperative. Overall I find this place amazing
