I go here for a metal detecting meeting once a month but the place is a really nice bar, plenty of room a smaller bar at the back but a large dance floor and stage. The staff are very friendly.

Went with my mum on a Saturday night, the singer was good enough and good on the guitar. As my mum is a member it didn't cost much for me to get in, the car park can be difficult to get in and has bad lighting so didn't feel very safe. The man who called out the numbers for the game and meat raffle was a bit lacking in a showman way. The group of ladies I was with made me feel comfortable, which helped me have a good time. I think it's a night more suited to 50+, saying that I think I'd give it another go and I'm in my 30s. It was very hot in there and they didn't turn on the air-conditioning, I saw some leave as they looked like they were melting.
