Second time going there, great selection of beers. Really cool that you can get them in 3rds, means I can try more without getting utterly sloshed. Wonderful staff. Overall very happy to visit again.
Its all about the atmosphere. Ideal for good beers with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Quiz and music nights on offer. No food apart from crisps and nuts though two nights pizza brought in.
Having been here numerous times before, it is surprising I haven't done a review. Always excellent Ale, the interior is inviting,with wooden bench seating. On this occasion Newton 66:v Brixham FC, was the main draw outside.
We came across this place quite by chance while walking the Templers Way and it was a godsend on a hot and thirsty day. Incredible array of beers and some genuine effort has gone into selecting decent real ales and craft beers. The stone baked pizza place outside was a welcome bonus. A couple of years and several visits later, it's just as good.
A hidden gem of Newton Abbot. Set in an old maltings house this place is amazing! A fantastic selection of Craft Beer on the taps, and also a huge range of bottled and canned beer from all over the globe. If you don't like beer there's wine, vodka, gin and soft drinks. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the taproom has a relaxed, family/dog friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit!
