A proper pub welcoming and amazing atmosphere đź‘Ś đź‘Ź Will definitely return!!
Nice place to visit. Bar staff are friendly and a very nice wood burner.
Manager Ray was aggressive towards three woman two where nurses trying to help a head injured man we found in the road. We where on phone to 999 when Ray took over stood the man up and tried to walk him away with another man. When challenged by us he became aggressive towards us shouting he is a boxer and got in our faces. We had to leave the seen for our safety and directed the ambulance by phone to the injured man. But any damaged by moving the man who was non responsive when we found him was on the head of Ray the manger by moving him.
Not what I expected to see from the outside but was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. It’s like an old pub turned sports bar. Nice lighting, bar looks futuristic and the staff are very welcoming and chatty. Looks like the place has had a recent refit and the attention to detail is really good. No expense spared. Great outside area all under cover and a nice green oak structure. TV’s are also situated outside so great for sports. I can imagine this place gets busy on the weekends…
Been here several times over the years, but only the second time tonight after the revamp. I left my jacket here earlier because I'm an idiot, but luckily it was kept back for my wife to come and get it later. Great pub, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon.
