Known locally as 'The Creeks' this bar and restaurant are situated in the centre of town on Squares Quay.
Breakfasts are served from 9am until 3pm and a full menu is served from noon with options ranging from sandwiches and paninis to main meals with cream teas available during the afternoon until 5pm. All day Sunday carvery. Daily specials.
It has its own takeaway fish and chips shop and ice cream parlour. There's plenty of outside seating out front at bistro tables under a verandah and picnic benches beyond.
Lovely atmosphere at The Creeks End. Food is great and it's dog friendly. Would highly recommend a visit here.
We Stopped in for lunch on the way through. We ordered both the beef burger and fried chicken burger, which came with fries and a side salad. The food was good, and looked homemade. The beef burger was very moist and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were fine and nothing was left. The staff were very friendly, and the only criticism was that the food took a while, though they did warn us prior to ordering.
Excellent service, well run, efficient and affordable. Absolutely beautiful spot outside in the sunshine today. Lovely situation on the Quay, shops nearby, as is the bus and taxi service. And a bonus today with the local market so near - the perfect place to meet with friends or family .... or just sit and watch the world go by. Thank you to all the staff! Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, made by Harriet today, was superb. Served with ice cream, absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, so yummy, I couldn't resist eating it before I thought about taking a photo!
Lovely place, nice big breakfast for £8.95, great tea and coffee, friendly staff, would highly recommend and would definitely return 😋 Also open on a Sunday morning
Nice to see a busy pub in the day! Staff are friendly and work well as a group, the management are always hands on with the rest of the team which is always a good sign. The food is really good and reasonably priced, plus you can see into the kitchen so it’s clean. Big indoor and out door areas. Tables outside are both under a covered area and out in the sun but they do have umbrellas if you require. Seating area overlooks the market square and is just across the road from the river 😊 Every time we come it’s been lovely, we get the bus, have lunch and a few drinks then back on the bus. You can see the bus depot from the pub! It’s a 5 minute walk tops, that’s stopping with a poorly person btw. It’s about a minute walk I recon. Nice clean pub. Long opening hours, appeals to all age groups too. Totally recommend 😊
