We called into the Williams Arms as we were passing on our way back from a blustery walk. We looked sandy and windswept but we're given a very warm welcome by barman Jordan. The room was pretty full and had a lovely warm fire. He found us a table in the busy bar, cleaned it down straight away and took our drink order. The carvery smelled delicious and was very busy. It made us feel hungry so we ordered some snacks from the main menu. They came quickly, were piping hot and really tasty. Jordan even provided us with a pot of gravy from the carvery for our chips. Thanks for the warm welcome on a cold December day. We will be back to enjoy the Williams Arms carvery another day.
Called in for an early supper and had the Turkey and Gammon pie which was excellent. The carvery also looked great so will call back sometime to try that and the pub is dog friendly to. We'll worth a visit if you're close to Braunton
Stumbled across this pub whilst on a staycation. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Rare find dog friendly pub. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Great Sunday roast deal, good selection of side dishes with the roast. We were lucky to get a table at the carvery and really enjoyed the side dishes. The meat was dry but still got a nice lunch overall for the price.
We found this nice gem on our way back to London from Saunton beach. We managed to squeeze in to their fully booked restaurant. The food quality was superb. Highly recommend to have your meal there. You need to book in advance for the carvery.
