About us

1/2 mile from the town centre, this three-roomed free house is a hub for local rugby and pub league teams. The pub has welcoming fires in winter, Sky TV in the public bar and a large, pleasant beer garden.

The Honeypot bar in a building at the top of the garden is very popular with up to four real ales and several ciders always available. (Honeypot Bar opening times: 1200-1500 Mon-Thurs; 1500-2200 Fri; 1200-2200 Sat/Sun).

Great place for a live band on a Sunday afternoon, especially a band as good as the Inheritors. 3 Good cask ales.

Nice friendly pub with a real ale bar called *The Honey Pot* in the garden. Lovely outdoor area for when the weather is good with a choice of covered or open air. Meals are served however, I cannot comment as I didn't eat there. They don't do delivery or take-out according to their website. I enjoyed my visit there.

I visited this establishment on a Sunday recently, it's not the first time I have visited but it's the first time in a long time, I heard music from a local park and followed it to the beehive. The staff were friendly and the selection of ales were great I particularly enjoyed the toffee porter. The band were really good and the outside area was busy. It's great to see a local pub doing well in these times. It was table service only when I visited but I couldn't tell you if its always table service or not. I will be back again.
