My husband and I were invited to a party in Spondon and we found this pub recommended on a motorhome site. We stayed in the carpark in our motorhome for 3 nights and cannot fault the pub, the staff the food everything. We ended up eating in 3 times and each time the service was quick, the food reasonably priced and delicious. Dog's are welcome and even have their own doggo menu. We will definitely be back again.
Came to the bi monthly classic car meet up then a bite to eat for lunch sat by the fire. Great little pub very friendly staff too. Top marks
Been before but first time eaten in pub last Friday. Lovely pub with good selection of ales and reasonably priced food, special board curry was excellent. Great service with young man behind the bar going above and beyond, nice to see in these times 🍻👍
I love this pub but we had a really disappointing Sunday lunch here last week. A very small plate of food was served with a minimal amount of beef. The vegetables were completely over cooked and turned into a mush. Two tiny roast potatoes were served, which again were very over cooked. I was surprised by the meal as we have always had great sandwiches and other meals here in the past. Another downside was the waitress dropping a used knife into my wife's drink but didn't offer to replace the drink!!!
Really reasonable prices and a nice portion, just good pub grub. Service was good, very clean and nice outside area to drink, can't fault anything.
