Not having stayed at the Peak Hotel I can't comment on the accommodation. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming, the beer (Old Peculiar) was excellent and the food just as good. There was a log fire blazing away the pub was warm and cosy. What more can you ask for?
Dog friendly, busy pub. Very good pulled pork sandwiches, can recommend the haggis bonbons- very nice - can get busy, so I'd probably book a table if possible. Parking is very limited, but there are spaces reserved if you book a room and you do get the cost of the parking back if you spend £10 and over in the pub
We recently had the pleasure of visiting The Peak Hotel, and I must say it was an amazing experience. We ordered Chicken Burger and Pizza. Both were good in taste. The ambiance was brilliant and clean. The car park is just across the road which is pay and display however the parking fee would be refunded if you spend more than £10 in the restaurant. I would recommend a visit.
Went here with friends for food and drink. Service was excellent, very quick and friendly. Had pre booked a table, recommended as can get busy. The menu selection was a slightly limited due to some items no longer available. Had the Peak District Burger which was fantastic and very tasty with a great sticky toffee pudding as a delicious desert. Would recommend and return.
Didn't stay. Just came in for a bite to eat. Chicken wings with skinny fries was delicious and very good portion. Hubby had the pork belly which he enjoyed. The restaurant was quiet and clean. The service was very good. Car park is across the road which is pay and display. However the cost is refunded if you have brought something for £10 or more. Recommend a visit.
