The Swan Inn is a traditional pub with a proper bar, great ales, lagers and an amazing array of wines, spirits, low alcohol and soft drinks... we have 33 different Gins available and are famous for our amazing Bass and keeping great beer.
The small intimate restaurant has an outstanding reputation for high quality, excellent freshly prepared food and the Sunday Lunches are something to behold.
Booking in advance is always recommended especially on weekend evenings and for Sunday Lunch.
We don't have a specific kids Menu but will always prepare smaller versions of our main menu or something like 'Mac N Cheese' for our younger guests. Our team will always try to help make your visit memorable and enjoyable.
There's a large beer garden for those good weather days and plenty of beautiful country walks nearby - muddy boots and paws are always welcome.
Like all 'proper pubs' we have a Quiz Night every other Monday and live music with our Sunday Sessions twice a month. And all other special events are covered - such as Burns Night, Valentines Day, Easter, Kings Coronations, August Bank Holiday etc etc... and we can cater for your own special event whatever it be - from Birthdays, Weddings and Retirements - whatever it is then give Olly a call to discuss.

Well what a nice surprise. Last visited here some years ago. That we hadn’t been back since was an indication of its standard. But wow! What a transformation! Oliver and his team have created and absolutely wonderful gem. The welcome, food and atmosphere was first class. We’ll be back… and soon!
I visited as part of a party of 12 for Christmas set menu. Food was amazing, beef Wellington in particular was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and super efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Swan for an all round perfect experience.
I love this pub! I found it when visiting family and will often pop in with my partner and dog after a country walk when I'm in the area. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty, and they have a large garden to enjoy a sunny afternoon in. Highly recommend, and looking forward to my next visit out of London
I brought my brother-in-law to experience a proper local pub, as he was visiting from the US. There was a quiz on with a fantastic atmosphere, the service was excellent, good drink selection and the food was spot on. This was the third time I've been for food and have been impressed every time and the staff have been welcoming and friendly on every occasion. Highly recommend!
Popped in for a pint ended up with a meal and reservation for Sunday lunch. Very pleasant, small country pub. Excellent food ( recommend the cheese cake ) and the Sunday roast beef was first class. Not cheap but excellent value. Keep it up !
