We only had a few drinks but it has a nice atmosphere.

The quintessential country pub. Always busy despite not serving food. Plenty of parking space front and rear. A good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. A great social atmosphere and fantastic, friendly staff. A roaring fire in the winter and a large outdoor area with plenty of tables for the summer make it a pub for all seasons. They even hold a classic car night twice a month in the spring and summer where you can look around a myriad of interesting vehicles, including tractors!
My first time today with a bunch of friends. Arrived for breakfast and returned in the evening. Great hospitality and selection of beers! I was nominated driver but still had a great time. Shout out to neave I think! Excellent behind the bar, especially dealing with my tipsy mates James Roe
A fabulous traditional country pub with real fires, real people meeting up for conversation. Cosy, comfortable and just fabulous. Dog friendly with a big new heated conservatory to enjoy, lots of outdoor seating too, great for the warm days/evenings. The staff are happy & welcoming
