Visited this place recently on my birthday. It was a Monday evening so the place was very quiet. We made a reservation for 8PM but bad to go early as we got a call saying the last order for food will be closed by 7PM. The service was good with friendly server. I am a vegetarian, so had limited options to choose. Overall had a pleasant experience.
Great pub with amazing food. Unfortunately, our fish and chips and chicken burger were a bit too greasy.
Great place. We stayed in Robin hood cottage which gave us 10% discount on our food in Robin hood Inn. We ordered risotto and burger vegetarian only along with some local beer and wine. Risotto was good in taste. Burger was okay. Ambience is amazingly warm and gives the actual country side feel. Would love to visit again.
Called in here for lunch on our way to Manchester Airport. A great find. Could have had two courses for £20 but, as we have to take our clothes off (to sunbathe and swim) when we are in Croatia, could not be tempted with a pud. Instead chose the rump steak sandwich, tiger bread, skinny fries and an Asian salad. Steak cooked to perfection, everything absolutely delicious. £12😊. Lovely lady called Tara served us. Decor great. If we are passing again, will definitely call in and have another steak sandwich🤗
Lovely pub, and we had the most excellent Sunday roast. I had the belly pork and it was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. Plenty of potatoes and veg as well as gravy. The cheese mushroom starter was also tasty, and the bakewell tart to finish was delicious. Will definitely be coming back as staff were great too.
