Positives - staff and atmosphere warm and friendly. Negatives - food was very disappointing. £20 steak and chips was largely tasteless and came with watery, mouldy mushrooms. £16 southern fried chicken burger arrived in fish and chip batter, in 2inches of french stick with the last of the chips. Felt thoroughly ripped off.
Just reopened. We are new locals so popped in for a drink. Menu looks good but we didn't have time to eat. Pizzas Mon and Tues, Sunday lunches anf good pub grub at other times. Brucie bonus was that we could take the dog inside, it is super dog friendly and there was even a jar of treats on the bar for them. New owner was very friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
Food was amazing, drinks are reasonably priced and staff are all super friendly. Had the French onion soup to start followed by roast beef dinner and was cooked to perfection 👌🏽
New landlord at the Deramore Arms and Dan and his team are working wonders. Excellent menu with well prepared very good quality food, good beers for every taste, and a homely atmosphere. One to definitely watch.
Very lovely pub, I had the spicy pizza and halumi fries. Good prices for the food and great service. Pizza was well cooked and would definitely have food here again. Music was good when I was in and wasn't to loud but louder enough to hear it.
