We visited the Deers Leap around lunch time, it was really busy there when we walked in so we were prepared to wait for food. We ordered and the food came out super quickly. The manager Andrew brought our food out and ensured we had everything we needed. Although it was busy, the staff were cheery and working extremely hard. Food was lovely, steak was cooked exactly as I wanted it. Really good visit, thank you!
Nice food, but if you're going on one of the offers nights, make sure you go early. Half of our party arrived and ordered/paid for food but when we arrived about 10 minutes later, we were told they'd shut the kitchen an hour earlier than advertised. After threatening to leave, including the ones who had already ordered, they eventually agreed to take the rest of the order! It was my birthday meal and my son and family were over from America. Explained it was a special occasion, but it took about 10 minutes of discussion before they finally agreed! Having said that, although they said we'd have to wait for our food, it arrived quite quickly. The food was lovely.
No pics taken this time, totally went over the head to take pics. But staff were polite, very clean, Good atmosphere. Food was not great but certainly hit the spot and I still enjoyed. Would I recommend visiting? Yes I would as food has been on point when visited previously.
It was very busy!!! There was one girl serving at the bar, and another staff member (dark curly hair, glasses) bringing the food out but they both did a brilliant job. The food was lovely, although the plates weren't cleared away as quickly as they could have been. Desserts took a long time to arrive, but were lovely. The atmosphere was amazing there, everyone was in really good spirits
Called in on the off chance, very busy on a Wednesday lunchtime. Staff are fantastic, friendly & welcoming. Didn't have to wait too long for our order to come out. Food was well presented & tasted great 👍 (onion rings need to be cooked a bit longer, we're soggy) Next we're in the area, we will call in again. Thank you 👍
