Friday night for 8, 2 families, 4 teens and 4 adults. Menus were pretty good, typical PubCo, with hope of reality pulling through. Service was quick and friendly. Food came out really fast and was very nice. My personal thing with these kind of places is frozen steaks as a pet peeve. Ordered medium rare and it hadn't come out of the freezer. Steak was cooked just nicely. That along with the salad, spot on. The starter of deep fried cauliflower wings was really good and shared around the table 8 clean plates, all happy. We didn't take up the offer of dessert until later and the kitchen were wiping down, maybe next time when we come back. There is nothing here to dislike and plenty to like ... thank you.

Didn't get a very warm welcome, it was really busy as we waited a while to be seated and a bar lady asked sharply if we has a reservation. A good job we said yes because we were sure she would have send us away. A more of a wait and we were taken to a table. We had a discount voucher and when ordering this went through easily and the bar man couldn't do enough for us. We were told there would be quite a wait for food but this was fine as we were in no rush. The food arrived and we all enjoyed it. Great value for money. The decor of the pub was also lovely. Our overall experience was excellent. One point / star knocked off for the grumpy bar lady that would appear to have been happy to turn us away.

A pleasant welcome followed by advice to find a seat anywhere we’d like to sit. Quick service, followed by a timely meal which was great quality and great taste too! My wife was very happy with her veggie pie - this is not always the case! My burger was excellent and full of flavour. All in all a happy experience and we’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Wonderful welcome from Staff Drinks and meals fabulous in a beautiful pub. Even though it was very busy we had wonderful service. Ordered meals,puddings and drinks thank you to all at The Dapple Grey we had a really special day in Uttoxeter. We drove from Derby to visit you.. will definitely visit again thank you Dianne

Asked for a medium steak...it was well done... So disappointing... Overall the meal was ok... The starter was really nice and could have quite easily had it again.... The point of Pedigree was good too...
