We are situated on Ash Street, a quaint cobbled street in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere. Come in for a coffee, or a glass of wine. If you fancy something a little more then relax over a light lunch, or a bite to eat from our lunch or evening menu. Followed by one of our scrumptious puds!

Best food I have ever eaten, hands down! Went for my birthday meal whilst visiting Windermere and would definitely recommend. The cocktails were great too, could definitely taste the alcohol which is rare! I had the ribs which fell off the bone, my girlfriend had the 8oz ribeye which was cooked to perfection. Little pricy, but worth every penny 👌🏻
1st visit to the area from Glasgow and came here for lunch today 26/11/23. Food was perfect and the staff where all really friendly. We will be definitely recommend to friends and family. Good relaxed vibe too :)
Booked a table online, you do need a deposit of £15 each but that is taken off your bill. We had starters, soup of the day (leek and potato) and the baked Camembert both absolutely delicious. Main dishes we ordered the Haddock (the batter on the haddock is all golden) and chips and The Dirty burger, all cooked superbly. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.
We ate here twice in our short stay in The Lakes and the food on both occasions was fabulous. We didn’t have to wait too long to be seated ( don’t be put off if there is a short queue it goes down really fast -and it’s worth the wait ) Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble Would highly recommend the prawns and calamari in tempura batter or the garlic prawns for starters and you’ll be spoilt for choice for mains , we had pan fried sea bass, seafood pasta in a tomato sauce , beef rib and steak and ale pie - all were equally delicious Highly recommend
