A warm welcome is assured from our friendly staff who will make your visit a relaxing and pleasant experience whether you're stopping for food, drink or both.

We have an exciting new addition in the shape of our newly installed micro-brewery in which we brew our own range of fabulous beers every week. If you're lucky enough to visit us on one of our brew days, you can sit back, relax over lunch and watch the brewer at work.

The Brewhouse Kitchen serves freshly made food and snacks; from light tapas style dishes to homemade soup and sandwiches. We are also proud to host an array of different drinks from Cumbria and around the world.

This place is popular with locals too go for a drink, they serve cocktails (plenty of choice) beer and wines. You can also get snack food such as cold meats/ olives a bit like tapas. There may be more food but of an evening that's all we have tried. It gets very busy on weekends but has a lovely vibe to it. Staff are always friendly and it's always clean.

What a fantastic place to go for lunch or even a just little drink. The staff were warm and welcoming , so polite and helpful when we came with our new born baby and dog. Particular mention needs to go to Duty manager Rachel who could not be more pleasent and friendly. Great food, lovely atmosphere and and a great choice of drinks too. What more could you want!

The Wine Bar in Kendall is an excellent place to visit on a trip to the Lake District, it’s kind of out of the way down a side street, we would not have walked past it if we didn’t do a TripAdvisor search for the best places to eat in Kendall. We were so glad we went there and will surely be back on our next trip to the lakes. The place is just beautiful, we went on a lovely sunny day and went to eat on their outdoor terrace, it’s such a beautiful place to sit and have a meal, tranquil and really well decorated, the staff even brought us out some cushions. We had a Sunday roast and some beers and everything was top notch, the roast itself was done to perfection and was very reasonably priced, the meat was particularly good. I would highly recommend the Wine Bar, it’s such a lovely place to visit and all the staff were so kind and welcoming, we will definitely be back again.
