Was so exited to go here after it being shut for so many years. Could finally go into the pub that my mum used to work in. We get there and we're turned away for having a dog. Any other pub would have allowed a dog as long as it was on a lead and well behaved, which he would have been. Very disappointed.

They don't food but they have a decent selection of beers etc. The place has only just reopened under new owners as a free house, which means they sell their drinks cheaper than tied pubs. It has been refurbished to a very good standard which makes for a comfortable friendly atmosphere. There is more room upstairs, where you will find a dart board and TVs for watching sports etc.
Beautifully decorated, staff and service excellent. Polite helpful staff member. Toilets are clean, well maintained, with quirky decor.
Comfortable and friendly. Seats and tables upstairs. Toilets and bar are downstairs. Decent food for fair price. Our waiter was great and very helpful.
