Room was clean. Just a couple of cheap additions would have made a huge difference. Like a small table and 2 chairs Pity it was extremely dark. The 2 halves of the bed was was fixed together and no wheels to be able to move it . Needs a new bed and mattress urgently. More than 20w bulbs needed. And saucers for the cups. And a spoon. More than 2 coat hangers. And luggage rack. Where the kettle was. I thought this a little dangerous. TV worked, very small. We managed for 1 night. No food available , but this was ok for us.

Lovely quaint village. Pub was closed so no bed and hot breakfast. However a continental packed lunch style breakfast was given to us. Room was a bit dark and needed brighter decorations. Ask for an iron and ironing board which was brought to the room for us.didn’t see much of the owners as the pub was shut unsure why. But would definitely visit again as the village was lovely and centrally for all the places we visited

Arrived and got told nothing of the time breakfast was served or anything else, just pointed in the direction of our room. Had breakfast elsewhere. Went to the room and had a drink in the bar. Room is basic but we didn’t mind as only needed a place to sleep. Tea and coffee, sky tv, and toiletries if needed. However, room was freezing and no way of putting the heating on. Bed so uncomfortable, can feel the springs in the mattress digging in our backs and the shower is awful, no power at all. Didn’t even tell us if there was wifi or if so what the code was?! No signal here so couldn’t plan our day until outside. Wouldn’t come back

Very friendly guests but little bit to work with the rooms. No cold water at the sink tap, no internet in the rooms and we couldn't open the TV (we haven't asked to be fixed). Otherwise clean and decent rooms. If you are not fussy or peaky in terms of accomodation conditions you can go there.

Starting with the positives: Staff were friendly, accomodating and for lack of a better word: nice. Also the food was extremely well presented. I feel a little bad, but the not so positives: The breakfast was grossly overpriced with the pre-cooked, under temperature hot held, over oiled (mushroom), under cooked disappointment leaving me twice in quick succession as one step up from liquid. The table was falling apart and we were unable to sit in the outside garden area due to the flies and pong which resonated from the bin compound. Unfortunately I would not revisit (and couldn't after a review like this), however, my experience may not be representative of the service generally as the garden was full in the evenings when we passed.
