Lovely lunch here today sat next to the open fire. The place has a nice cozy feel to it and the staff were very friendly. The pub is located next to the medieval bridge and there's a lovely walk alongside the river Culm.
Great pub, very welcoming and good choice of real ales Had lunch that was definitely a cut above usual pub grub. Good variety and also good size portions, all served quickly. Although a struggle also managed a sweet, excellent sticky toffee pudding. Definitely would recommend a visit.
Friendly local, good IPA. parking available, seemed very popular. Food lunch and fron 5pm although did not eat. Lovely walk by river across the road in beautiful village
Beautifully situated near the river culm, we could walk along the river in an hour but after a great meal best to drive. Great welcome, friendly service. Menu can change as food cooked fresh on the day, great Italian menu. We returned the following week for a superb Sunday lunch. Plenty of outside seating too and dog friendly.
I fancy myself as a bit of a cook with a couple of Italian signature dishes. I have to say the tagliatelle with beef ragu was sublime. My wife’s burger was the best I have seen as my fishing buddy & I make our way round Somerset & Devon on fishing trips. To top it all the landlord is a fisherman & there is a decent mixed river adjacent!
