Great food, but the Hunters Chicken Schnitzel needs to be taken off the menu in its current state. It looked disgusting for about £17.. the staff were very professional when we told them. Fish and Chips was fantastic, as were the lasagne and spicy pepperoni pizza!

Birthday dinner. Food was great, with a great selecting to suit everyone. Lovely surroundings with a lovely old inn feel.

First time I've been here for over 20 years, the atmosphere was lovely, very family and dog friendly pub. My wife had the hunter's chicken, and I had fish and chips which I must say was probably the best I've had in years. It was a really chunky big bit of fish cooked to perfection with a batter so so crispy and triple cook mouth watering chips and very hot and fresh 20 out of 10. Great pub great food

I've had some lovely meals here and some not so good. The atmosphere is lovely especially this time of year with open fires bar side and restaurant fab friendly staff which is always consistent just wish the food was nice All of the time but one thing that has improved is there coffee... lovely smooth and creamy for a latte and always with a lovely little flap jack.

The old town atmosphere at this restaurant is wonderful. Indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting) is available. The food selection is full of options, the Sunday evening dinners have even more fresh options. Many choices available for wine by the bottle or glass, draft or bottled beer, and mixed drinks are available from the bar. Advice to make reservations so you have a table reserved with no wait time. My only suggestion is improved service as the staff is slow for order taking and payment.
