Please do drop in to see the changes we have done to The Crown. It has been several weeks of arduous tasks, hard work and a lot of help from our friends but we made it: The beer is cold and fresh, the till works, and the entertainment is on point!
We have been simply overwhelmed by the local support we have received, many stopping by that we have never seen before to wish us well on this mammoth undertaking. We appreciate every word.
This year we intend to make even more changes, for instance we have many sporting events coming up and as we are a sports bar with many screens and great sound, we’ve taken it outside and placed a screen in the old smoker’s area in the beer garden. It is under a roof if the rain gets in the way so should make for good watching on a large screen.
Keep coming back to this page to find regular special offers and promotions, there will be no one week that is the same. Things like a bottle of Chateau Neuf du Pape at just £18 per bottle, a pint of Bud light at just £3.80 and so on.

We visit the crown regularly on a Wednesday for the quiz night, although it is not a serious quiz the atmosphere and the possible prizes for all to win are amazing!, the new addition of Butchers grill provides lovely food ! The landlords Nick and Nicky always have a smile on their face! A truly amazing pub!
The crown is really at the heart of the village, both owners Nick and Nicky really know how to run a pub, from bingo nights to family fun days! They even sponsor the local football, cricket and youth club! The service, food and atmosphere is always 5* 100% would recommend this pub!!
Absolutely love this pub! Such amazing people who run the place and they do so much for the local community. They always welcome us with a smile and they can’t do enough for others. Highly recommend this pub to anyone!
Welcoming atmosphere, family friendly, accommodating and polite staff. Wide array of spirits with over 160 gins, 50 vodkas, 50 rums. Perfect venue to host events. Incredible food and available from the butchers grill with a menu with something for everyone and very accommodating with allergies and preferences. Great pub for a pint and some pub grub.
Friendly family pub with a lovely landlord, landlady and staff. What a great place for great beer wine and the most amazing selection of gins. Keep.an eye out for tasting evenings, we went to Gin tasting (see photo) what a brilliant night. Lee's grill also does some great pub grub so get in the Crown and enjoy (See other photo)
