Visited yesterday when watching Scunthorpe a proper pub with a good landlord.
One of the last remaining drinkers pubs in Peterborough, The Crown is still a great place to listen to live music, have a drink, and spend time with friends. You won't go here for the dining, because there isn't any. But there are plenty of drinks choices including regular guest ales and pretty much everything you would expect in a well stocked public house. The bar staff are great too.
Nice little pub, perfect for pre match drinks. Friendly atmosphere, good beer, recommended!

Went to the crown before football match at Peterborough Sports, Spennymoor fans were making lots of noise all in good behaviour, the landlord was excellent, no complaints about fans but then he would have taken a lot of cash that, we'll be back next year 👏👏👏👏
