Fantastic meal and atmosphere, wish the roast duck had a little more noodles with it though! Cookie dough was amazing. All well presented too.

Lovely traditional pub off the beaten track. I had the fish and chips which was far too big for me and I have to say the best fish and chips I have had in a longtime. The one big problem is it is not in easy comute to my house, if it was I would be here at least once oer week.
Had a rich fish filled fish pie with smooth mash and a cheese topping. Delicious. My wife had lambs liver with red wine. Mash and veg were tasty and nicely cooked. Good selection of ales and ciders. I'm definitely going back.
Probably the best country pub ever! In over 30 years of eating here I've never been dissappointed. It's still run by the same family and all the staff are friendly and do a great job of making you welcome. All the food is excellent, with good vegetarian and gluten-free options. I can't recommend highly enough.
