The Crown is a family operated 400 year old Traditional Welsh Country Inn offering a warm welcome, local food, accommodation, cask ales, real fire and more. Well behaved dogs are welcome to see Chester, our mischievous mastiff. Situated on the traffic lights on the A525 Wrexham/Ruthin and A5105 Chester/Corwen The Crown is at a gateway to the magnificent Clwyd Valley and it's spectacular countryside. Views can be enjoyed from The Ponderosa Cafe situated some 2 miles from us above the Horseshoe Pass. The village of Llandegla is also sited on the Offas Dyke Path and The Crown provides a welcome stopping point for weary walkers. (Please check out current opening times.) The Coed Llandegla Forest is local to us it provides internationally acclaimed mountain bike trails but can be enjoyed equally on foot. There is also the Llandegla Shooting Ground some 2 miles on the A5104 towards Chester.
