First visit to The Crown. Overall a very good and enjoyable experience 👍 Tasty food although slightly small on the portion sizes for the high prices. Doesn't reflect well in our opinion. Staff were amazing, friendly, and competent. Even considering the drunk party at the time. Thankyou for seating us away from them very much appreciated. But are the seats you sat us in built for children? Very small and uncomfortable. Slightly took away from the otherwise lovely surroundings. Final note: happy overall but would not choose to revisit as more value for money pubs in the area. £85 for two 3 course meals. In our opinion worth £55 plus a tip.
Wow! I think this will be our new family favourite meal out (including the dog!) We’ve just been for lunch and every meal was perfect! We had steak pie. Hanging skewer and a HUGE burger! All were absolutely delicious! The staff were amazing and so welcoming! We will be back very soon. Thank you 🥰

A wonderful, welcoming pub with amazing food. I made this our local during a trip to the Peak District, the Staff were very attentive with Millie being the star of the show. My name is Cedric the Boxer and I was very fussed over - I will miss this terrific pub! Ps apologies for slobbering on the floor!
Fantastic venue for a very personalised wedding, Lucie and the team at The Crown Hawk Green made it all about us from start to finish. Detailed planning, fabulous room tastefully decorated, wonderful food, regular communication with everyone concerned, at a very reasonable package cost. We can’t thank the team enough for making our day so special!
