Very nice place overall, and good value in general. However, some of the service was lacking, nothing wrong with the staff, but the place was somewhat disorganised; on my first morning I was woken up early because they believed I hadn't paid, despite doing so weeks in advance, I also had to move rooms half way through because they put me in the wrong one. For all that Colne was a lovely place to visit, and if you go, well, there's nowhere better in the town. Literally, I think this is the only guesthouse.
In addition to the fact that the common bathroom did not have toilet paper or hand soap. There was no heat in the room. I talked to them and they ignored me. the windows are very bad as if they were not there (a very loud noise is heard and the cold came through them. I mention that I had a room with 2 single beds and a public bathroom.
I know it's a good pub. Although I wasn't at the pub it was the bus stop, i had been too my daughters for the weekend and was travelling back to Keighley from there
The room was clean , could do with a few improvements especially in the bathroom. The bar was good and the food was good, hot and nicely presented
Literally the worst hotel I've stayed in with work (and considering it's usually Premier Inn, that's a pretty low bar). Rooms were dirty, bed was uncomfortable, no toiletries (including hand soap), windows wouldn't close properly and road was mega loud. Service was the worst, confirmed with hotel we'd arrive between 4pm and 5pm. Staff didn't arrive until 5pm so we were sat outside like wallys. Went down for breakfast, no staff there to take any orders, and the fire alarm was going off for 30mins. What an absolute joke
