We were overjoyed when we called in travelling home to Devon. Musicians and singers were producing wonderful songs and music. What a treat and food we had was very nice. Would call again if we pass that way.

It was a half way point for my family to meet, (2 hours away from my home) It was easy to book a table, the service was very good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.. Will definitely be back 😊

We stopped as passing and needed to eat as hungry. Barman wasn’t exactly friendly but the customers were. I had a baked potato that was just about acceptable but could have been cooked a little more as hard in places. My partner had Nachos and they were nice. I found the so called jokes on the wall in the Men’s toilets offensive. Limited choice of food for vegetarians and didn’t see any Vegan options. I have added a picture of one of the sheets of so called ‘jokes’ on the wall of the toilet, I was deeply offended by the Ukraine 🇺🇦 one. Plenty of use of the C word as well, not great if young children go in there.

Wow... this is an amazing pub and a real find. We had dinner here and was blown away by the quality of the homecooked food (the pies were amazing). Sarah was fab at meeting my daughters sensory needs around food and nothing was too much trouble. The service was impeccable and the ladies toilets spotlessly clean. This pub is a must for anyone looking for quality food, great service and friendly atmosphere. A huge thank you to all staff!

Visited while on holiday. The food was faultless and full of flavour. Great portions! We chose to have the prawn cocktail starter instead of a main as we liked the look of the syrup sponge and we were quite surprised when it came and it was the size of a main anyway. The pie was humongous and came with carrots, peas, green beans, cabbage and broccoli!!! The staff were also very polite and attentive. Great pub, highly recommended. Oh and also real onion rings, mmmmmm
